From Aug 17th to Sept 16 starting from Queen St. to Gerrard St. pedestrians can enjoy a totally different experience along Yonge St. with reduced car lanes and an increase in public spaces that allow for a more enjoyable, leisurely walk. You can visit 11 themed event areas along the way - its a trial effort to provide wider sidewalks and a more pedestrian oriented streetscape.
