Take A Seat At Throne Barbershop

Throne should be every man’s go-to spot for a great haircut on the PATH. Located underground, (more specifically, right under us) this barbershop has been open for just over a year but has quickly made a name for itself in the city.

Joshua, Brian and Christian were three close friends who decided to go into business together and open Throne. Each of them had a dream of opening up a barbershop in the city that would be different from others in Toronto. They wanted Throne to be different than your typical, local barbershop, and they wanted to try to promote their shop as an upscale yet comfortable environment for their clients. One of the partners, Christian, died tragically two weeks after the shop opened, which Joshua told us gave him and Brian even more motivation to build Throne to its fullest potential in his memory.

Being located on the PATH has been great for business, as some people drop in merely because they are passing by. It’s a real mix of clientele for them as some people have heard about the shop and have come to check it out, some see them on social media, they have regular customers who come from all over the GTA and then people who just drop in for a quick cut. Some of their most notable customers include players from the Toronto Raptors! Jonas Valanciunas, Dwight Buycks and Demar Derozan, to name a few, often frequent the shop for a fresh cut.
Their signature is to provide their clients with the “Crown of Confidence”. That is, they want you to walk out of the shop feeling like a million bucks. Their goal is to give men (and eventually women) an experience that will transform and enhance their appearance. They are ready and willing to make sure your appearance is always maintained and their clients are looking and feeling good.

Check out the shop’s Facebook or Twitter to learn about their promotions and specials, or just head downstairs and check out the space yourself! They’re located at 384 Yonge Street Unit #31 on the PATH.
